Travel & Stay
Sant’Angelo is located on the island of Ischia, just off the coast of Naples. Travel to Ischia involves flying into Italy (Naples or Rome), followed by a ferry from Naples to the island. To make the journey as easy as possible, we’ve outlined recommended travel dates, hotel accommodations, and transfer options below.
Hotel Block in Ischia
We’ve blocked discounted hotel rooms at Hotel Casa Celestino (20 rooms) and Rocco Barocco Boutique Hotel (5 rooms), both perfectly located in Sant’Angelo’s pedestrian-only village — just steps from all wedding events. Staying here means no taxis, no stress, and a true taste of island life.
The wedding celebrations will take place September 6–8, and the room block is available from September 5–9, allowing guests to settle in before the festivities and enjoy a relaxed departure afterward. Please note that the room block is intended to cover the wedding events. Guests planning to participate in optional experiences, arrive earlier, or leave later may need to book additional nights independently.
Space is limited, and rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so we recommend booking early.
How to Book Through Hotel Block (September 5-9):

Flights to Italy
The most direct way to reach Ischia is by flying into Naples (NAP).
For those traveling from New York, there are direct flights from JFK and EWR to Naples, making this the most convenient airport option for the trip.
Alternatively, you may choose to fly into Rome (FCO), which offers a wider range of flight options. From Rome, it’s approximately a 1-hour train ride to Naples, where our transfer service can pick you up directly from the train station and assist with the journey to Ischia (if you plan to opt into that).
Recommended Travel Dates
If you’re planning to join us for all wedding events and optional festivities, we recommend arriving to Ischia by Friday, September 4 and planning to depart on September 10. Please note, for international flights (including all U.S. departures), this typically means spending the night in Naples the evening before your flight home, as ferries do not run early enough the same morning to connect with international departures.
Getting from Naples to Ischia
There are two ways to get from Naples to Sant’Angelo on Ischia:
Option 1: Full-Service Transfer (Airport to/from Hotel) — Recommended
We’re offering an optional full-service transfer arranged through our planner to make your journey as seamless and stress-free as possible.
In Naples, taxis cannot enter the ferry port itself, which often means navigating busy areas on foot with luggage. With the full-service option, everything is handled for you from arrival to hotel check-in.
Total cost: € 260,00 (~$305) for two people one way (vat and tax included). This includes:
Meet & greet with a hostess at the airport (outside luggage area)
Private car in Naples or Rome from and to the port of Naples
English assistant at the port of Naples
Pre-booked ferry tickets to Ischia
Porter service from airport to hotel in Sant’Angelo (max 2 pieces per person for two people)
Private transfer on the island in private car or taxi
How to Book the Transfer: Email info@capriwedding.com with your flight information and the team will take care of the rest. If you have any special requests, such as traveling with children or as a family, feel free to reach out to the wedding planner — they’ll do their best to accommodate.
Option 2: Getting to Ischia Independently
Guests are welcome to arrange travel independently if preferred.
The route & approximate costs would be as follows:
Taxi from Naples Airport to ferry port: ~$20–$40
Ferry tickets (one way for two): ~$60 (Book via FerryHopper or Direct Ferries)
Taxi from Ischia port to Sant’Angelo: ~$50
Please note that Sant’Angelo is car-free, and luggage may need to be carried short distances upon arrival.
