FAQs
💍 Wedding Information
-
All of our celebrations will take place in the seaside village of Sant’Angelo, Ischia. The exact venues are a surprise, but everything is within a short walk from the hotel block.
Because Sant’Angelo is a car-free village built into the hillside, we highly recommend reserving your room within our hotel block at Casa Celestino or Roccobarocco Boutique Hotel. These are the only hotels located directly in the pedestrian area where all of the wedding events will take place. Staying here will make it much easier to get around — no taxis or steep climbs — and availability in this part of the island is very limited.
-
We’d love for you to enjoy Sant’Angelo as a family if you wish — children are more than welcome to join you on the trip. However, our wedding events will be an adults-only celebration. The only little ones attending the events will be our nieces and nephews.
-
We’ve created dress code themes for each day to keep the weekend cohesive (and the photos extra special!):
Welcome Dinner (Friday): All-white cocktail attire
Wedding Day (Sunday): Mediterranean chic in shades of soft blue, formal attire
Beach Celebration (Monday): Swimwear and cover-ups
For full details and outfit inspiration, visit our Dress Code page

We’ll kick things off with a Welcome Dinner on September 6, celebrate the wedding on September 7, and keep the fun going with an afternoon Beach Party on September 8. We’re also offering optional experiences including a Boat Day on September 5. You’ll find full details on the Our Optional Experiences page.
✈️ Travel, Transfers & Logistics
-
The easiest way to reach Sant’Angelo is by flying into Naples International Airport (NAP), the closest airport to Ischia.
We’ve arranged an optional full-service transfer from Naples directly to the hotels in Sant’Angelo to make your arrival simple and stress free. This includes private car service from the airport to the ferry port, your ferry ticket to Ischia, and private car service from the ferry port directly to your hotel in Sant’Angelo.
If you prefer, you may also fly into Rome (FCO or CIA) and take the train to Naples, where the same full-service transfer can pick you up for the final leg of your journey.
Please note: for international departures (including all U.S. flights), ferries from Ischia do not run early enough in the morning to connect with same day international flights. Guests with international flights will need to plan an overnight stay in Naples the evening before departure.
For more details on flights and transfer logistics, please visit the Travel & Stay page.
-
That’s up to you! The service is available for both your arrival and departure. You can book one-way or round trip, depending on your plans. More details on the Travel & Stay page.
-
No — cars aren’t allowed in Sant’Angelo. The village is pedestrian-only, and transfers, taxis, and ferries handle all island logistics.
-
Yes! Sant’Angelo is a car-free village, and most events are within walking distance of the hotel block.
We strongly recommend reserving one of the hotels in our room block, since getting around outside Sant’Angelo can be challenging — the area is hilly with narrow paths and limited transportation options.
The only event not walkable is the Beach Celebration, which we’ll reach by boat — everything will be coordinated for you.
🏨 Hotels & Accommodations
-
We’ve reserved rooms at Hotel Casa Celestino and Roccobarocco Boutique Hotel, both perfectly located in Sant’Angelo’s pedestrian-only village — just steps from all wedding events.
The wedding celebrations will take place September 6–8, and the room block is available from September 5–9, allowing everyone to settle in before the festivities and enjoy a relaxed departure afterward.
If you plan to arrive earlier to participate in optional experiences, please note that any additional nights outside the room block dates will need to be booked independently, as the reserved block is intended to cover the core wedding events.
Because Sant’Angelo is a car-free village with winding hills and limited accommodations, we strongly recommend booking within the room block for convenience and proximity.
You can view booking instructions on the Travel & Stay page.

You’re welcome to. Just note:
You’ll be responsible for your own island transfers and logistics
Other hotels may not be as conveniently located for our walking/boat-access events so you could be walking up and down hills at very far distances. And there are no cars allowed in this village.
-
Our room block is specifically for September 5–9, 2026 at Casa Celestino and Rocco Barocco. If you’d like to extend your trip before or after those dates, we’d be happy to help. 🌿 Excursions & Activities
-
Please indicate your interest in the Ischia Boat Day on your RSVP form. We’ll confirm final details and pricing closer to the wedding once we have a headcount, and we’ll coordinate everything for you.
-
We may plan additional optional, opt-in experiences based on guest interest and arrival timing, such as a hike or a visit to the island’s gardens. If you’ll be arriving early and are interested in joining other activities, please note this on your RSVP. Additional details will be shared closer to the wedding.
